    • A clean litter box makes for a healthy and happy cat. We recommend replacing Modkat Reusable Liners when there are signs of fraying, or after 3 months use to keep bacteria and odor in check. The integrity of the liners depends on how many cats use the litter box, how much litter is used, and how ferociously they scratch. Daily scooping and sustaining the litter level at 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) will maximize their life.

    Good system

    I have had a modkat box for quite a few years and now have a second one. I find the system very easy to use because I can simply unclip the liner and put it inside a garbage bag tip it upside down and it empties out. Then I use my hose sprayer on high to clean out any remaining crystals that might be stuck to the liner which isn’t usually a lot. Then I wash it in the laundry sink sanitize it with odour remover let it dry and put it away to use again. I find the fact that the liners are reusable very helpful because they are fairly costly but they are efficient. It’s the easiest method I have found so far. I have tried a number of litters but my personal favourite is the clumping crystal litter. My new kitten took to this box immediately.

    Overpriced but do what they are supposed to

    It’s exactly what it says it is, basic tarp material to fit in the litter box. Frustrating that they are so expensive and never go on sale or promo code available.
