We couldn’t be happier with our new Modkat litter box. One of our sweet cats is what I’ve learned is called a high pee-er and sometimes would shoot over the back of our previous “high-sided” litter box. When I couldn’t live with it anymore, my search led me to Modkat. Wish I’d searched sooner. Totally worth the investment. And, we couldn’t believe that part of the shipping box turned into a cat toy. Amazing thinking Modkat team!
The flip lid litter box is great! Easy to assemble and I love the fact that the liner is replaceable. My cat is a messy pee-er, peeing at the highest possible angle. The tall box and liner keeps her business in the box and easy to clean up. She's a happy cat and I'm a happy mom.
I bought this same product 6 years ago and I liked it. After losing it during a move I knew I had to order it again. And the upgrade they have made with their products makes me LOVE it now.
I have the extra large box with the top opening option. These liners (and the litter box) are amazing. I can wash and re-use the liners but my cat is really picky and will do his business outside the box unless his box is pristine so I regularly replace them. So happy I found ModCat!
Our cat is a high side pee-er… and we had so many problems with littler boxes keeping the smelly pee in the seams between top and bottom. As well, our other cat is BIG, and he fits so much more comfortable in this one. It fit in our laundry room cabinet nicely. And we love how easy the scooping is! Bonus: The supply box that becomes a toy box that comes with it is well used!
My dogs were making a mess with my cat’s previous litter box, I was concerned my 9 year old cat wouldn’t adjust to a top entrance but after coaxing her inside, she took to it right away. Now there’s no mess and she feels more private and secure. Win Win!
I've only had this for a couple weeks now, so I can't comment in terms of longterm value, cleaning the box and liner completely, and how much use you can get out of one liner. Having said that, I'm extremely impressed. I have a really sloppy cat who tracks litter absolutely everywhere, and I've tried out multiple litter box situations with him for the past five years. Nothing really worked until the Modkat XL. It's weird, because I tried him on a top-entry box before, but it was still leading to litter spilling out onto the floor every time he came out. Something about this one is really clicking for him! So I really recommend this to people with messy cats who are at their wit's end. This is probably the closest to a solution as you can find!
Oh my goodness, this cat box is perfect. It is the perfect size for my male Siamese. He is a high pee’er and the liner inside of this cat box is high enough.
Excellent quality product. Good size. Soft on cat's feet. Easy to use as a funnel to discard of excess litter.
I know it’s hard to believe, but this product does everything it says it does. As someone with a Maine coon and a bigger-than-average Siamese, the Modkat saved my sanity. My cats were always ripping through litter liners, forcing me to have to dump out everything and clean the other litter boxes all the time. My Maine coon has such strong smelling urine, and having to clean out everything constantly was SUCH a hassle! But Modkat’s liners truly were a game changer for us. They absolutely WILL NOT RIP. It stays secure in place, and keeps the actual box clean. The charcoal filter absorbs any smell. And when it’s time to change the liner, you can just throw it in a garbage bag, no spilling or crazy maneuvers. My cats love to perch on the top of the box and look out the window as well. It’s functional, it’s furniture, it’s FANTASTIC!!! I just bought a second one because my Maine coon is bigger now and my Siamese needs his own space. Thank you Modkat for making this product and being true to your word!!

I resisted for quite some time because my daughter had the original for her cat, PJ. PJ jumped onto the top, entered, but his head and neck had to remain above the top in order for him to do his business. No, I wanted my 9 pound girl to have plenty of room and space to check her text messages, watch her favorite cat videos on YouTube and enjoy her privacy while comfortably doing her business. Then you came out with the XL front entry Modkat and you nailed it! I bought it and she absolutely loves it. My gorgeous girl sends her regards.
We have a lot of cats (we foster, they come and go) and have been through many different litter box variations. The Modkat Flip/ and Litter Keeper combo are by far my favorite. I don’t even mind reordering liners and bags because they work so well.
I am kicking myself for waiting so long to purchase the Flip Litter Box! I have a side/back pee’er…I have struggled finding a litter box that he can’t pee out the side/back of! My floors took a beating while I figured it out. I found Modkat Flip Litter Box and thought it was too expensive. However, over the course of the past 3 months, I purchased 3 different “tall” litter boxes and they all failed! I spent just as much on those 3 boxes that didn’t work! So, I did it, I bought the Flip Litter Box and it was delivered THE NEXT DAY! I could not be happier with this purchase. I REALLY recommend it! Don’t wait, spend the money and be done with it!
I am very pleased with my Modcat litter box. It was easy to assemble and my kitty had no trouble adapting to it. And we all love the cleaner smell in the basement where we keep it. I recommend it.
Fits in front of our litter box perfectly, easy to dump any stray litter pieces back into the box. Glad we bought this one!
This was a fantastic step up from the basic little box we had been using! It was very easy to set up and my kitty transitioned to it with no problems.

Contains oders, easy to scoop, cats have room, the liners are fantastic. Modkat is the only way to go!
Not impressed for price paid. Liners leak and urine pools under it. My cat urinates outside the opening.
