Modkat Flip Litter Box

I debated purchasing the Modcat litter box for WEEKS and wasn't sure I could be convinced that $100 for a non-auto cleaning litter box was justifiable. After reading so many great reviews and looking at other products, I finally went for it and have been pleased with it so far (a couple of weeks). I purchased the bundle with the litter box, mat, and extra liners. All of the cats seemed to start using it without any fuss. We still have two uncovered litter boxes and one made out of a plastic tote so it has a lid, and the Modcat makes a noticeable difference blocking the smell. The mat is so-so at minimizing tracking. We have not changed out the litter yet so unsure if the liner makes much of a difference. Overall, the regular Modcat litter box is a nice size that accommodates our varying cat sizes (small to chonkin' to fluffy) and fits nicely in a hallway closet. We keep this one closest to the main area of the house and thankfully it does not smell like a cat toilet when you walk into the house. I appreciate how easy it is to flip the lid back for scooping as opposed to fighting with a bulky clip on lid. Is it worth $100? Hard to say. Will I likely purchase a couple more and pray they go on sale at some point? Definitely.

The litter box is good, and the cardboard box with holes in it (which I almost threw out!) is great! I put some of my cat's toys in it, and he's actually been playing with them! He's usually pretty lazy, so this is a good thing.

Owen has been using your litter box for a couple weeks. He took right to it. He’s a good boy I was so proud of him straight away. It’s so nice to not have to remove the whole top. Makes cleaning so much easier. I usually clean his litter box two to three times a day. He loves when I clean it. He jumps right in after I do. He does sometimes throw litter out. It’s like he all of a sudden grew thumbs. Great litter box. I recommend it.

Very pleased with our Modkat. Although at first we only received the top portion after sending an email letting the company know, I received a quick reply and we were sent a whole new completed package. Our kitten has no problem using it and the top latch makes it simple to clean.

Only been using this thing for a few days, but so far so good! I love the tracking pad. I bought it when downsizing into a one bedroom in the hopes that I could handle the litter spread. I wasn't sure how having a lid would go for my lil guy, but my cat took a nap in it as soon as I set it up, and pre- putting in the litter. Always a good sign!
